Have you checked the drives in the Device Manager for an On setting for DMA?

> I just upgraded my system from a AMD K6-2 550MHz to an AMD Duron 1GHz
using a SOYO K7VEMPRO M/B. I move the Creative 52X Cd and the Lite On
16x10x40 CDRW from the old system into the new one. On the old system I
could copy a CD in 4-5 minutes. On the new system the same process takes 20
minutes. Any ideas on what might be wrong? The two Cds are on the secondary
IDE bus with the CDRW as master and the CD as slave (the same setup as the
old system. Thanks!
