as do many animals. often only the liver is eaten, which has about 10%  in
lipids on average.  if paleo man got 100 grams of fat in a day the rest of
calories could be obtained from protein without any metabolic problems.  you
can get that from one marrow bone.  anything you dont eat can be left for
the dogs. and people in the group would not doubt eat the fat and protein in
different proportions depending on their individual preferences.
