Hi Ben,
Think about what I've written a bit more carefully before attributing things
to me that I simply did not say. I don't advocate that humans chow down on
grains. If you had actually read my recent posting -- I said that I believe
insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes epidemic in the US is likely caused by
too many starches and sugars. Where did I advocate that humans should have
grains as the mainstay of their diet?? If you are saying that eating
grain-fed meat is the same thing as eating grains, then by the same logic,
eating grass-fed meat is the same thing as eating grass. Since when are giant
bowls of grass on the paleo menu? We agree that omega-3 and vitamin E are
beneficial -- the point I was making is that nuts (for vitamin E) and
sardines for (omega 3) blow grass-fed meat away for these nutrients. Also,
not all grass-fed meat is lean. For instance, as I also mentioned in a
recent posting, the grass-fed Australian lamb that I enjoy very much IS
fatty, and Dr. Cordain would have us trim all that as well. He says so in
his book. Regarding your views about "USA corporate kleptocracy " -- they
would be much more appropriate at one of the many Marxist/Communist chatrooms
available on the web.
