I've been keeping my protein intake 10% or less per meal -- the point is to
try to trick the body into wasting the fat calories -- and then throwing the
hunger switch to search out more 'nutritious' (protein) food. I have added
leaves to my regimen for the bulk factor -- they have so few calories or
carbohydrates. Today I had a green salad with 1/2 avocado slathered with lots
of homemade bleu cheese dressing -- added 10 grams of protein (ham) -- the
whole thing was well over 400 calories but only about 11 grams of protein.
