Hear here! I say to myself "You're an addict -- there is NO safe level of
this food for you!

When people ask me how I lost weight (27 lbs since March), my short answer is,
"Totally changed my eating habits." If they ask how, I tell them. When I get
to the no grains, no dairy, no refined sugar or processed foods, their eyes
generally tend to glaze over.

I agree, it has to be a lifestyle change. I intend (barring anything
unforeseen) to eat this way the rest of my life. The benefits so far have
just been too great for me to give it up! I NEVER want to go back to daily
indigestion and fatigue and discomfort. I like my more stable mood and lack
of headaches also.

It is hard to eat paleo in America today. I didn't realize how many foods are
built around carbs and starches till I started eating this way. But hey, I
didn't really need to eat out as much as I was eating before anyway!
