Just maybe -- you'd be better off thinking about switching your entire way of
living (and eating) and let go of the idea of dieting.  Diets are always
doomed if you allow yourself to think of them as temporary fixes for your
*normal* way of eating.  As soon as you return to the habits that got you to
that obese state - *surprise* - you're already on your way back!

I'm also finding it very slow in terms of weight loss, but there is steady
progress.  I am committed to staying the course, for the rest of my
hopefully-extended life.
