Wild rice isn't really a rice at all -- a very distant relative -- is a bit
lower in carbohydrates compared to brown rice. Probably lower GI too.
Glycemic load is better parameter since it is a measurement of the blood
sugar increase of all the foods you eat together -- more realistic since we
normally don't eat individual foods or foods with the same GI.
