Wild rice is not related to grain rice.  But rice, regular rice, does not
have much gluten, if it has any at all.  But I can tell you one reason that
rice may be harmful............it has a high glycemic index, meaning it
raises your insulin very high, just like sugar and potatoes, and this, with
all the rest of our junk carbohydrate food, is causing an epidemic of Type 2
Diabetes in our society.
