My Mother made them the same way except I don't know the source of the
brains. I remember this from a very young age and I also loved that

My great grandmother used to eat squirrel brains with scrambled eggs. I
think she fried them in lard with a little salt and pepper and then threw
in the eggs and scrambled it all up together. I never tried it, though.
