    In many communities, laws were written for providing accessibility and
the term,
"Handicappped" was utilized in such laws. These laws were written before
"people first terminology. Actually, If you look into the origins of the word
"handicap" in the Oxford English Dictionary, "handicap" is a very positive
term.
