<<Question:
Do you know of any other historic building exhibits that use visitor
controlled buttons and spot lights to accompany the presentation text about
items or features in a room?>>
I haven't seen one in a historic building, but I saw a similar idea used to great effect at the NJ State Police Museum, where they use spotlights in a crime scene exhibit. Visitors are invited by videotape to look over the "crime scene" and draw conclusions. Then the tape describes how real investigators analyze a crime scene, and use spotlights to highlight different "clues" in the exhibit. It's pretty cool.
