Boy have I been having a ball; making it up in the backyard so to speak

My old school house interior walls are plaster on lathe; if there was any
paint on them its long gone
Ive been making my own lime (paints /washes) on interiors
using 1927 recipes 1 slake hydrated Lime 48 hours
add 10 lb salt in water
add 3 lb sizing (wall paper paste)
                                add marble dust (optional )
                                 paddle stir add color (optional)
cost for materials under $10.00 per room 20x30
result is an old world look ; transparent yet finished

When I return from taking humor classes from Ralph in New York I want to do
the outside poured concrete (1940 ) walls
! slake 50 lb Hydrated lime (type s)
add 10 lbs casein (milk glue)
                                             add 5 pints formaldehyde
                                               marble dust /water
Question I understand the result of most of the chemistry here ; but what
happens when you add salt??? what happens when you add formaldehyde??? what
do these additions create what reactions happen ???? ....Michael

ps I will be residing unto the airy environs of Morningside any pin heads who
like to put beer in thir lime please call upon me (cell # to follow) Best
Michael .....
