According to Ravnskov in The Cholesterol Myths research has also indicated
that low cholesterol is more often observed in criminals; people with
diagnoses of violent and agressive behavior disorders; homicidal offenders
with histories of violence and suicide attempts related alcohol and with
folks with other psychological problems such as poor internalization of
social norms and poor self-control -- these associations are with non-drug
induced low cholesterol. These associations don't show causality of course --
but interesting, n'est pas?
Namaste, Liz
