I just wanted to make sure all understood...
The meal I had at the Outback went well. I took a printed version of
the GF menu they have on line with me. That helped, the server was even
interested in seeing it.
However, Applebees was the resturant where I had problems with people
understanding. (not Outback)
Also - from now on I will describe the problem in terms of 'wheat,
barley, rye....and like that'. I *did* explain it...but used the term
'gluten' first...which I think people's minds kind of got 'stuck' on.
