Last night we had dinner at a new restaurant called Bombay Cuisine which is
located behind the Howard Johnson Motel in Cherry Hill. Tuesday night is
dinner buffet night (only $11.95 per person) and the hostess offered to walk
us through the buffet and explain the various dishes. When I mentioned that
I couldn't eat anything with wheat flour, she said that she knew about celiac
disease and that I could even have the breaded appetizer because it was made
with chick pea flour. The only thing that I was unable to eat was the
bread--which my husband said was delicious and is made right there. They
also have a very extensive menu which the hostess said offers many
gluten-free dishes. On Wednesday nights, they have a vegetarian buffet. A
lunch buffet is available Tuesday-Friday at $8.95 per person and
Saturday-Sunday at $10.95 per person.
I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys Indian food and
suggest that you speak with the hostess when making your choices.
Unfortunately I didn't ask her name but had the feeling that she is probably
there every evening.
