My experience was different.  I was on synthroid and gained 30 lbs.-plus felt
lousy.  When I changed over to Armour, I lost the 30 lbs.  My Blood work was
in the normal range most of the time on both.  I also feel much better on
Armour.  I'll never change back to Synthroid.
