I think a weak heart not circulating enough oxygen is what causes most of the
problems. I believe this is why I constantly yawned. (Even though a
cardiologist said my heart was fine, the fingertip thing that measures oxygen
in hospitals showed 100% when I tried it)

Sounds like hidden male bashing. One doctor told me I was fine, maybe I just
needed a little more exercise, another told me I worked too hard and my
fatigue was normal. Actually, going the other direction I would say it's
much easier for women to be diagnosed. At least when they have irregular
periods, it's thought of as a possibility and sometimes the TSH is elevated
so the woman is diagnosed. It may be that it's considered primarily a
woman's disease because doctors have no reason to test males except for the
fatigue. The costochondritis, the plantar fascitis I had didn't clue them in
to the possible problem. The fatigue did but back then, but I had normal
TSH. So, as a population, a larger proportion of men may go undiagnosed and
untreated with hypothyroidism because a rare problem is one rarely looked
for. And it's looked for a lot less in men.
