I am new to the list and newly diagnosed. I have noticed messages
concerning gluten-free cosmetics, soaps and household cleansers. I was
surprised to see this. I know that substances can be absorbed
transdermally, but I thought that Celiac was a disorder of the intestines.
Although I have switched toothpaste due to the possibility of swallowing,
I had never even considered absorption through the skin to be a problem.

Can anyone explain ? Thank you.
