Dear Listmates,
Please let me know if others have this problem: I'm hungry almost all the
time. Especially after a meal, I feel almost exactly the same as I did
before the meal, i.e. hungry. I know I don't need more food, I shouldn't
have more food, and my stomach feels like it has enough (or almost) food, and
yet I have the unpleasant sensation of feeling hungry. This doesn't go away
after 10 min. or a half hour or an hour. Basically it lasts until its time
to eat again and the same pattern is repeated....
Does anemia sometimes cause this symptom. Can yo-yo dieting years ago lead
to this problem (eating when you're not hungry and perhaps not eating when
you are, or basically ignoring hunger cues?) I have been gluten free for
about 20 months.
Also looking for a GI specialist in East Bay area of San Fran. Thanks much
and Happy New Year. Roselyn
