Here is my summary with regard's to the Deland's bread. My 7 year old daughter had the severe reactions 2 times to Deland's bread. I received over 50 responses.

36 people responded that they or their children had the exact same response as my daughter, i.e. that they have had no gluten reactions for years, and 1 - 2 hours after eating a piece of Deland's bread, had severe vomiting.

2 people had no reaction. And 2 people wrote that their support groups ordered for the group with only one or two subsequent reactions.

2 people reported that they reacted to the bread, but normally eat millet without a problem.

Most people feel that it is an allergy to millet.

4 people feel that the bread is not gluten free, or that there is a contamination issue. Deland's bakery maintains that it is in fact gluten free.

2 people mentioned an enzyme that you can take and will have no problem with the bread.

One person severely scolded me for giving it to my daughter a second time after she had a reaction once. (We wanted to be sure that it was the bread and not a virus or something else that she had eaten!)

Finally, several people recommended the Kinnikinic White Sandwich bread. I ordered it from The Dietary Shoppe in Philadelphia- http:dietaryshoppe.com and my daughter loved it, and no reaction!
