Dog Throwing - the newest extreme sport.  Give it a few years to show up on
the Olympic venues, though.

 As to strange dogs, I did not get over that fear, despite owning several
dogs, again until I was past 18 and working as a stonemason, lifting stone
all day. I found that I could lift an angry dog in a dog fight from the back
of the neck, pull it up out of the melee and throw it.

I doubt Albert had to learn to throw dogs. I also doubt Billy Collins has
ever thrown a mad dog.
