Hi.
Just hit your right mouse key on the link in question and choose
"save target as" from the menu that comes up. The files are standard MP3
files.

Subject: [VICUG-L] I Want to Download, Not Listen
Hello fellow listers:
Okay, my subject line states my problem in a nutshell. There are times when
I would rather download a song when entering on a link rather than having
winamp launched and hearing the song. Take, for example,
www.mrimpau.com/oldies.html
When I enter on any of the song links there (and its a great site, by the
way), a "plug-in" gets invoked and I either listen to the song or hit "alt
F4", which not only closes winamp but throws me out of the site. I haven't
seen anything in either the I E 6 or winamp 5.05 menus that seems to address
this situation; i.e., nothing to uncheck or check.
I'm sure the answer is simple, but since I don't know it and don't seem to
have a way of intuiting to it, any help would be deeply appreciated. As
stated, I'm using I E 6, winamp 5.05, windows XP, service pack II on a
3.0GHz Dell dimension 8300.
Many thanks!
John
