HELP I've deleted EVERYTHING from my HD. Now I can't get anything to install. An XP CD only wants to format to NTFS not FAT32 then reboots but does not install. Win98SE CD won't install either. When I use its floppy boot disk whether I choose option 1 or 2 [cd support or not] it tells me that 'on drive C there is no valid FAT or FAT32 partition'. When I type 'fdisk' at command prompt I get 'No fixed disks present'. Whether I type 'format C:/u' or 'format C:' or 'format C: /s', I get 'Format not supported on drive C: Format terminated'. I thought I could access BIOS by holding down Ctrl key or f1 or f2 as it starts up - but can't. DOS won't install either. I'm no expert - what am I not doing to get FAT32 on? Thanks in anticipation - John Moore.
