Every once in a while the topic of the paleolithic purity of
alcohol comes up. Well just to report, my blackberries
ferment on the vines if the weather isn't too wet. If it is
wet they just spoil, really nasty. So my little patch of
berries gives me a small amount of alcohol.

The blackberry season is about over. My trips to the garden
will be a little less fun in a week or so as the last ones
dry up.

But I see that the second (inferior) crop of raspberries is
about to start. :--)
