Absolutely terrific.
The first time that anyone on network televisions has said:
- Low-fat diets are based on BAD SCIENCE.
- Eating "fat" won't make you "fat".
- George McGovern was responsible for the low-fat die, not science.
- Stop eating refined carbohydrates
So far, (outside of MSNBC, which no one watches), this was the FIRST program
that did not end with a statement by a medical doctor that essentially said
that low-carb would kill you in the long run.
Make copies of this and send it to your fat friends and relatives.
PS As far as "Paleo" goes (ie the recommendations in all these TV programs to
include "whole grains"), realize that it is likely to be 50 or 100 years before
the "Paleo" concept is accepted by society. Remember that "caveman" equals
"stupid" in society. After 30 years of low-fat, Low-carb is a big step
forward in helping millions to achieve better health - and it will
automatically mean a greater emphasis on meat and other paleo foods.
