I suppose it's only good manners to briefly introduce myself.

In an apropos nutshell, I've begun the paleo-way in what seems the logical
next step of where I've been diet-wise and where I want and believe I need
to go next. Today marks the end of my first week of paleo-eating. With the
exception of a few cups of coffee lightened with small amounts of cream,
I've managed to adhere to both the *Neanderthin* and *Paleo Diet*
guidelines. I'm currently reading both books. Don't know which direction
I'll go when the "what am I gonna eat now" decisions get tougher. I've also
spent the bulk of this week reading four months' worth of the archives. My
only complaint is I can't access the site past 11 pm. Bummer. I'm a night
owl by nature. --Does this mean one or more of my paleolithic ancestors in
the absence of artificial lighting was--what else!--the clan's night
watchman? <grin>

Back to a bit of a serious note, I'm sure most of you will understand my
interest in context of many of your own self-same reasons and without
further elaboration from me about my specific ones at the moment. These
things tend to reveal themselves by and by, so I'll spare your time and eyes
by posting less instead of more this time around. I will add, however, that
I subscribed not only because of my own health and quality of life issues
but also to pass along gleaned information to my 17-year-old son who has
rheumatoid arthritis.

From what I've read so far, this is a really interesting group and I very
much look forward to reading and learning more.

Best regards to all,
Theola
