Brothers Sheihk Tijan and Tombong,
Reading both your postings and that of Mr. Ceesay, I am have come to suspect that Mr. Momodou Sillah Bai has been given the sack for precisely the very opposite reasons offered by Mr. Ceesay's source.
Sillah Bai's incorruptibility, inside a regime many members of which are so busy running their private businesses (handled by trusted fronts) that they have no time to govern, is part of the reason he may have been fired.
We are all victims of the Gambian condition: rumours grow wild on lands where accurate information is not sown.
Momodou Sidibeh
