I come back from vacation to this discussion, and it's bumming me out. :-(

But, yeah, it's downright scary, and war will happen, if not now, at some point in the future.  India and Pakistan have always been at odds with each other, and it's a particularly tense situation. We, the US, are caught in the midst, as an ally of India and an ally of the current Pakistani government in their efforts to help us against Al Queda.
