well, i did not even know about coclear inplants until it was on the news
when rush limbaugh was going or had went deaf and was having it done.
tipical of the media, never saw anything else like if it worked for him or
what the per centages are ect.

Thanks Kat and Ken. I hear sounds now with the hearing
aid. It's speech comprehension that I'm looking
forward too...without lip reading. I'm getting to the
age where  reading glasses are coming into play and it
makes it all that much harder. Will let you know how
it goes.
