It may depend on the type or degree of CP.  It's
almost like higher the severity, the more likly it is
that the person is skinny.  In my experience with
friends and such, I noticed the following:

- the really spastic quads tend to be very skinny, no
matter how much they ate
- the paraplegic with most/all upper body use tend to
be "normal" or a little heavy, if in a chair
- the diplegic with one good side/one bad side (like
me), tend to be all over the weight scale

I was pencil thin until about 10 years old, when
puberty and a 3-month long stint in a body cast came
along.  Somewhere between age 10 and 15, I went from
under 100 lbs to over 190.  I've been battling with my
weight ever since.  At 5'2", I'm probably 50-60
overweight (which I think is considered "morbidly
obese").
