Hi All--

I'm hoping some of you that experiment more than I do
can help me out...Before being dx'd celiac, I used to
cook pork chops in the crock pot with a cream soup
(usually Campbell's cream of mushroom) after browning
them. They were wonderful with baked or fried apples
on the side.

Can anyone help me out with a gravy or sauce that I
can use in place of the Campbell's soup? (BTW, I'm
cooking for my brother and sister-in-law and she
doesn't like cream of mushroom soup) Both of them are
on low carbohydrate diets, so I need to consider that,
too.

All suggestions/recipes will be appreciated! If
there's a gravy that would hold up to slow cooking, I
can serve their meat without it. I have most gf
flours, but can't get too exotic...this is Alabama.

I'll summarize...it's always good to have new recipes!

Thanks for any and all help offered...! (My
sister-in-law doesn't believe anything but "her"
cooking could possibly be good, not to even mention
gluten free - this is my chance to prove gf can be
delicious!)

Cheers,
Ayn/Alabama
