I've gotten a lot of calls today about the physician awareness dinner that
ROCK (Raising Our Celiac Kids) and Friends of Celiac Disease Research is
hosting this Friday. The weekend conference was postponed, and many have
asked if the physician dinner is postponed, too.
I'm delighted to say that the dinner for primary care physicians to educate
them about celiac disease is STILL ON! March 28, 7 p.m., Hilton Hotel on
Mission Bay. Dr. Fasano won't be able to make it; Michelle Pietzak, M.D. is
still going to do it.
We have a terrific turn out so far (not amazing, but I'm happy with it).
We'll be doing it again in September when the conference takes place, so
keep that in mind if you know of physicians who couldn't make this one.
