Hello everyone, this is my first post, so please be patient if I make a
mistake.
My older son is going to have repeat bloodwork drawn for his celiac
panel. His brother was diagnosed 18 mos. ago and is on GF diet with
success. Older son has few, if any, symptoms, but when he had his 1st
blood tests done, the IgA was normal, the IgG was in the 90's, and the
Ttg was normal. I am going to have the doctor add the Total Serum IgA
this time. Are these the definitive tests nowdays? I noticed in the
archives of this list, the texts still talk about reticulin and
endomysial tests.
Thank you very much. He will have a biopsy if these results come back
high.
