I will be flying the end of May and already checked about a GF meal, but because of the times I'm flying we won't have a meal, just peanuts. So, since this is the first time for me to fly since 9/11 and reading the website of the dos and don'ts of flying now, I read where you cannot have an ice pack now.

Last year when I flew I took a little lunch thing with an ice pack for my cheese, jell-o, etc. Now I'm wondering if any of you have run into this problem of them "finding" your ice pack and telling you you can't have it or what you take on a flight, besides crackers, if something needs to stay cold.

My stomach usually is a little upset anyway flying so I don't usually take anything "heavy" to eat, but don't know whether I just want to eat crackers either. I figured I would either have the cheese or maybe have a sandwich made, but that will need to be cold due to the mayo, meat, etc.

Thanks for your thoughts!
