I'm sorry if I made it sound like I was saying "never" absorption problems,
in anyone, at any time. I thought I told Skipper, and all my other patients,
"Never believe any doctor blindly, not even me." Always, listen, take notes,
bring a friend or a tape recorder, and then surf the Net, learn as much as you
can about your malady, observe and record your responses, go back, and compare
notes with your doc.

The Internet is the best hope for improved Medical care, because we are
becoming more informed consumers. I learned more about thyroid on this List Serve
(and Mary Shomon's Bulletin Board) than in all my formal training and in many
years of my practice.

Doc Don
