My 13 year old is being worked up for celiac-no growth in 2 years and 5 lb wt loss.
Endomysial antibodies positve at 1:80
biopsy normal
tissue transglutaminose antibodies normal
symptoms vague-some diarrhea (not bad), sometimes floating stools. no abdominal distention or pain.
Has anyone seen this and have it still be celiac disease?
The jury is still out but we are confused. Any insite would be appreciated
