Hi Lee and Listers,

THe book I was referring to is "Safe Uses of Cortisol" by William McK.
Jeffries, MD.  I think I found it on Amazon.  Another good thyroid book is
"The Thyroid Solution" by Ridha Arem, MD.

Good luck with your pain and thyroid issues.  Most progressive doctors
believe in treating the patient not the numbers/lab work.  Those that go by
TSH believe that for women a TSH of 1 is reasonable.
