Definitely a sign. (As an aside, you might need Metformin [Glucophage]. If
you're insulin-resistant, you will have a devil of a time losing weight even
if the thyroid situation is taken care of).
My doctor has done the blood test and says my thyroid is fine
Crummy methodology on the doc's part, reflecting the !@#$%^y state of the art
of endocrinology.
Since my doctor refuses to acknowledge the possibility of a problem
Same answer as above.
[Y]et I experience constant coldness, fatique, depression, weight gain and
many of the symptons.
Take the next step. Find a different doc. Go to thryoid.about.com or
wilsonssyndrome.com. They will provide a "paradigm change" in the way you think
about thyroid.
