Pam,
Thanks for your reply.  Your experience is very interesting--it is just
the opposite of what I was told would happen!  hmmmm
my endo and gyn say:
lower estrogen causes need for greater thyroid hormone
higher estrogen (hrt, etc.) causes need for less thyroid hormone

yours say:
higher estrogen causes need for higher thyroid hormone
lower estrogen causes need for lower thyroid hormone

If I have it right, I wonder why the discrepancy?  Of course, my docs
say 'it doesn't always happen,' so we are left to sort out our own
unique symptoms anyway...
