Tish,
I've had all kinds of thyroid and adrenal problems... and the same exercise
fatigue you have mentioned. Last spring it was all I could do to walk two
blocks without feeling like I was having a heart attack or ready to pass
out. I got my thyroid adjusted (Thanks Doc Don!) added some cortisol, and
started feeling better. In September I had a cardiac workup done, with a
stress test. Found out my heart was thickening (cardiac doc said low
thyroid can cause this to happen, also it can be caused from not enough
aerobic exercise, and from heart failure). I was started on Lipitor, one
asprin, and I had to force myself to get 20-30 minutes of exercise at least
5 times a week.

Guess what? I either walk for a half hour at a brisk pace now, or I hit the
gym for AN HOUR on the way home from work. I do 20 minutes on the treadmill
at a fast walking pace, and do 40 minutes with weight machines. I FEEL
WONDERFUL!

Before this, I led a very sedintary life... I'm an educator, plus finishing
up a Specialist degree this fall... sit at a desk or computer virtually all
day and evening. NO WONDER I felt so yucky!

So in addition to your thyroid and adrenals, look at everything you are -
and are not doing - for your body, including moving. Perhaps you might have
the same problem going on???

Blessings,
Caron

<snip> My body temp still is low by almost
a degree and seems to stay there... Felt ok on Sunday for a walk of about a
mile.
It was 45 and windy and it ruined my night - could not relax. It seems
every time I do something over a certain stress level, I don't sleep. They
say exercise is good for adrenal stress. <snip>
