Hi Group,
I have been on 50 mcg of Levoxyl for the past 3 years, but I didn't notice any difference in the way I felt (tired all of the time). Since last week, I started to take half a tablet (25 mcg) in the evening. It has made such a difference in the way I feel! I now sleep much better, and when I wake up I feel rested. My companion says that my snoring has stopped, too! That was his number one complaint with me. I am going to bring this up with my Endo when I see him on 6/05. I feel that I need to be on 75 mcg of Levoxyl, taken the way I'm taking it now (50 in am, 25 in pm). I thought about trying 50 mcg at night, but I'm afraid it would be too much med, and I don't want to become hyper. Has anyone else experimented with Levoxyl to find their right dosage? I am border-line hypo, and have a slight goiter. Does the right dosage of med cause the goiter to shrink?
