<snip> I truly do no believe that taking both is harmless. Check the Internet
for side effects from Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc. As any med. what can be
great for one person can be a disaster for another. Good luck.

Thanks, Laurie,
I've been a basket case for about a week now. Yesterday my Internist called in a script for Clorazepate. My husband filled it, and the first pill really helped. But the one I took at bedtime kept me up most of the night totally wired. I saw the doc today, and he said that was strange, then prescribed Paxil. Now I don't know what to do!
Here are my most recent labs: taken March 28th.
TSH 5.16 (My TSH on January 2nd was 3.04.)
Free T4 1.15
Total T3: 224

I have an appointment with Doc Don (1st one) but it's not until May 3rd. I feel like I'm losing it. My muscles cramp up, I'm tired and foggy all the time, I'm shakey and depressed, and I have a doctor who thinks my thyroid is "functioning normally." I gave him a copy of a list of hypothyroid symptoms that I got from http://www.synthroid.com/consumer/1320.htm#topic7 and the only symptoms I could say I didn't have were the ones related to menstrual stuff (hysterectomy over 10 years ago due to endometriosis).

When I mentioned to my doc that everything I read says TSH should be between 1 and 2 to feel "good," he just nods his head. Today he told me that my TSH was normal, and before we worry about that anymore he wants me to tackle the depression. Why can't he understand that I'm depressed MOSTLY because I don't feel good?!?!? I'm working on a Specialists degree in educational leadership, due to be done this summer. I've been working hard looking for an elementary principal position, but it's darn difficult when you don't feel good!

Oh man, I need help!
