I was also nearsighted by age 7 and my vision
only stopped its rapid deterioration when
I switched to contact lenses at age 14.
I was undiganosed hypo for awhile, but have been
on meds for about 2+ years. At this year's eye exam
my doctor told me there had been a dramatic
improvement in one eye and claims he never
sees such a change for the better in middle age.
Go figure.
