>>Over the last 6 months my TSH has bounced between 3.5 and 5.5. My doctor
doesn't think I am hypothyroid (yet), but I have been diagnosed with
hashimotos. I have been trying to loose lbs with no luck despite exercise
and diet, and I have been unable to get pregnant.

Should I ask my Dr. again about treatment for hypothyroid? Am I
hypothyroid?<<

My first visit to the Dr with symptoms of what turned out to be
hypothyroidism showed a TSH of 3.5 I was told I was stressed out. (6
months later TSH 15.3 - Hashimoto's) If you are having symptoms of
hypothyroidism, ask again. Being in the upper range of "normal" TSH while
exhibiting symptoms is not acceptable - your the one who has to live with
the effects, not your doc.
