That's interesting - there is also another source of non-prescription
glandular extract thyroid hormone, along with some adrenal extract and a
few vitamins.  But yours sounds much cheaper.  The one I know about,
through Life Enhancement Products, costs about $25 for 1/4 grain
equivalent.  Perhaps it can be shipped to anywhere without a prescription
though.  They also state that it's good for everybody over 45 years
old.  Of course, for someone with significant hypothyroidism, 1/4 grain or
even 1 grain may not be worth more than a hill of beans.
