Today I had an appointment with my doctor. thought for sure my
medication needed changing. I am on Levothroid .15. But the doc says the
TSH was very good (1.6). So my husband and I asked why all the
symptoms.....dry skin, constipation, forgetfullness, fatique, joint pain
and so on. He is not sure why, but only knows it isn't my thyroid. He
thinks it is stress. I have to admit there has been a lot of stress with
my husband being so sick, but these symptoms started before hubby got
sick. So to humor me, he is doing a full bloodwork. Should have the
results by mid next week. Good thing hubby was with me. I thought I was
imaging it, but even hubby thought doc was just humoring me. I just
changed doctors last year. I can't change again.
After taking medication for this for about 26 years and never getting
answers, at least this doctor put a name to it. He says it is Hashimoto.
No one ever told me that before!
Sometimes, actually, most of the time, I get so frustrated with these
doctors.
While we were there, I mentioned to the doc that Monday night my
wrist started hurting me at work. but I guess with all my other
complaints, he ignored it. Well, at work tonight, i could not stand the
pain anymore and told my supervisor. Since it was something that
happened at work, he had to take me to ER to get checked. it turned out
to be tendonitis. My arm is all wrapped up, so my typing might not be to
good. Sorry for all the mistakes.
