I was told I had premature ventricular
contractions not all that long after my
thyroid was finally diagnosed via my
TSH (symptoms were ignored by
docs for years, naturally). Holter Monitor
test said they were benign. Then I was
told it was premature atrial contractions.
And most recently just "a slightly abnormal
sinus rhythm." I get dizzy and it's kind of
spooky. I'm scheduled for another Holter
Monitor test.
I must say that stress and caffeine really
set them off, but I'd swear also that when
my thyroid is out of whack and my meds
are due for an increase they worsen. Sort
of the opposite of the thought that the increase
in meds would set them off.
