If you have been on prednisone at high doses for more than a few weeks it may
take as long as year to get everything back to normal.  This is one year
after you have discontinued prednisone.   It would be best if you explained
the prednisone connection to the doctor who is prescribing your thyroid
medicine rather than wait a year with both suppressed adrenals and a
suppressed thyroid.
