Dear List, I am going on a long trip first to Germany and then to Russia and would like to have a German and Russian translation for a card to give to waiters and chefs.

Something like: I have a condition called non-tropical sprue or celiac sprue and need to eat foods that are gluten free.

I cannot eat wheat, barley, wheat starch, rye, barley. millet, malt vinegar, or sauces or gravies made with flour or meat or fish coated with flour or bread crumbs.

If anyone has such a translation or has a source to suggest, I will be pleased to get them at mailto:[log in to unmask]

Thank you.
