My daughter has an HP Vectra PII-266 w/ 96MB ram and a 30GB
hd and WIN 98SE. She deleted some software and now the
system locks up after 3 BSOD's - first error is 0E
0028:00000015, second is 0D 0246:015F47FB and third is
02F7:015F268B.
I can boot into safe mode, I've checked .ini files, bootlog,
msconfig, paged thru the registry, autoexec.bat, config.sys,
looking for references to the programs she deleted, can't
find anything.
If I do step-by-step boot, I get a line which appears to be
part of autoexec.bat with a reference to the program, but I
can't find it in the .ini's, autoexec.bat, startup or
anywhere else to try to remove it.
The NOSPIN Group Promotions is now offering
Mandrake Linux or Red Hat Linux CD sets along
with the OpenOffice CD... at a great price!!!
